My client requires a SAP MM/PP Functional Consultant (Hungarian speaker)
Role Summary/Purpose
The SAP Functional expert plays a key role in Grid Solutions SAP project delivery, whatever Core Model evolutions, Enterprise Standards implementations or roll-outs, and will require proven functional expertise of SAP MM, PP & HUM modules.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience delivering functional SAP expertise with in-depth knowledge of business processes (Sourcing, Material Management, Manufacturing, Handling Units Management ) and how they are supported by SAP (scope: MM, PP, HUM)
- SAP PP, MM experience essential.
- SAP HUM experience ideal although not essential.
- Good knowledge of integration with others SAP Core Model modules (scope: FI, CO, SD, CS, PS, WM, QM)
- At least 1 experience contributing to a full-life cycle project (either core model definition or ERP worldwide roll-outs)
- General understanding of other global applications integrated with SAP (PLM, CRM, Project Management solution)
- Experience(s) using SAP Solution Manager and HP Quality Center is preferred
- Periodic off-hours support for go-lives or major issues.
- Flexibility to travel when needed (occasional travels to Paris /potential worldwide travel on a site for 2-4 weeks max.)
Essential Responsibilities
Project build and delivery
Support SAP Core Model evolutions, Enterprise Standards implementations or roll-outs by providing remote or on-site assistance leadership in all process areas Learn and understand quickly the existing process blueprints Focus on blueprint re-use to maximum practical extent Document processes and SAP functionality - processes, flowcharts, procedures, work instructions, configurations Guide/interpret SAP technical team on all requirements and localizations Work with key users and business managers to understand business processes, key requirements, and key business excellence drivers Develop/promote holistic process solutions keying on existing blueprint template Facilitate end-to-end integration of all functional requirements Analyze the business requirements to design the appropriate solution, as near to SAP standard as possible Partner with other SAP functional and technical resources to define new functionality and functionality changes Customize according the solution designed Write detailed functional specifications Provide the functional specifications to the development team and follow the development, providing answer to potential questions Perform unit and integration tests prior to key-user testing Document and deliver process and SAP training
Support process experts and key users during business integration tests and user acceptance tests
Fix defects and incidents raised during test phases and post go-live Actively provide functional, technical, and process knowledge for rapid issue resolution Drive rapid resolution of all issues related to SAP processes, coordinating all involved teams Assist with master data definition and guide business in best practices for validation Be involved in migration of IT processes and tools, system and process implementation, bridging IT and the business as an enabling function.
