Our client is currently searching for an SAP Trainer who lives somewhere in the region of Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Stuttgart, Waldorf to join their in-house team on a permanent basis. The SAP Trainer is responsible for conducting training sessions on the SAP suite of products for new customers, existing customers, and internal customers. Courses are conducted at client facilities, company training facility, and virtually. The SAP Trainer will facilitate technical classes while customizing training materials to ensure that client’s needs are met. Responsible for developing, updating, and editing training materials that include outline text, handouts, and exercises. Maintain extensive knowledge of course materials and deliver courses in a professional manner. Expand their own skills while helping to train others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Train customers to improve their knowledge on the client's suite of SAP products
• Teach formal and informal classes to varying audiences and skill levels on the business process and technical steps needed to implement and utilize the software at a facility, virtually, or at the customer’s location
• Work on-site and directly with clients to gain a clear understanding of the customer’s existing business processes
• Ability and flexibility to adapt the training materials to sessions of varying length and for varying audience sizes possessing varying skill sets
• Ability to effectively conduct classes with a combination of remote and on-site attendees
• Help develop and organize training materials, visual aids, and other educational materials for all products
• Analyze training needs and develop strategies to improve courses and documentation
• Proactively manage, report, and troubleshoot issues that occur while training
• Work closely with product management to update training materials and create delta classes as new releases of the software are rolled out
• Manage and communicate course registration and participant information with training coordinator
• Develop and organize training materials, visual aids, and other educational materials for all products
• Handle related duties as assigned
• Travel required (30-50%)

Qualifications:
• At least three years of SAP software training experience
• Knowledge of SAP software products required; Sales and Distribution (SD) experience preferred
• Experience with the typical business processes of a manufacturing and/or distribution environment preferred
• Must be able to train both technical and non-technical people
• Independent thinking with highly developed problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn new software and processes quickly
• Experience with delivering virtual training is nice to have
• Excellent facilitation, organization, and time management skills
• Proven ability to work independently and with virtual teams
• Knowledge of instructional design theory and Adult Learning Principles
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Languages:
• Must be Fluent in English
• Fluency in any other European languages is highly desired, especially German.
