You must be based in either US West Coast or East Coast timezones in order to be considered for the position. This is a 100pc remote working role with no requirement to be on client sites.
My client is seeking a SAP APO techno-functional Consultant (50% and 50% split) with at least 5-6 full implementations. In-depth core SAP APO functional and SAP APO ABAP knowledge is must and able to work/review SAP APO standard program errors, user-exits, BADI, BAPI's and other functional modules and code review/fixes for any issues related to APO program errors related to DP, SNP, PPDS, GATP, CIF and SNC areas.
In addition my client is looking for the following experience.
- SAP APO ABAP programming tools including Reports, Enhancements, Conversion Programs, BDC, LSMW, ALV Reports, Dialog Programming, Data Dictionary, RFC, ABAP Query, ALE, BAPI, and BADI. Ability to turn business requirements into functional/technical specifications. Development experience using SAP APO Live cache BAPI's in DP, SNP/PPDS Planning areas extractions and planning books.
- Strong system analysis, conceptual and troubleshooting skills in APO space.
- Ability to articulate and compare alternative configuration and business process approaches.
- Ability to independently propose and implement solution designs related to ECC-APO-BI.
- Design build and support SAP Advance Planning and Optimization (SAP-APO) applications objects.
- In-depth technical skills in DP/SNP/PPDS/GATP, Deployment, TLB, and SNC planning to support or live implementations and post go live issues.
- Knowledge APO master data and ECC master data and hands on knowledge of basic planning engines such as optimizer and heuristics & CTM.
- In depth knowledge of different scheduling techniques of PPDS along with CTP.
- Knowledge of APO CIF along with strong knowledge in CIF error handling & troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge on configuration support for DP, SNP, and PPDS & GATP areas and able to debug/check the usage of user-exits, customer exits including any BAPI's and BADI's.
- Strong knowledge of data extraction (APO-BW-ECC Concepts).
- Designing Process chains & JOBS as per business requirement.
- Strong knowledge on DP BOM and PDS structures.
- Strong APO Live cache De-Bugging skills for troubleshooting is mandatory.
- Knowledge of supply chain planning and production execution for core business processes.
- Expert in configuration of APO-SNP with a specific focus on the CTM solver (supply and demand matching), Optimizer.
- Expertise in any or all of the following is a plus - advanced safety stock planning, aggregated CTM planning, Global Available to Promise (GATP), subcontracting processes in SNP and deployment, SNC.
- Hands on experience working on SAP ECC as well as SCM 7.X is must and must have suggested corrections and debugged code on APO side in DP, SNP and PPDS areas.
