Description
* SAP ABAP Developers - Belgium.
One of RED's global clients is currently looking for multiple SAP ABAP developers to support them with a Greenfield implementation project.
Essential Skills/Experience
- A minimum of 10 years SAP development experience
- Participation from a development perspective, in a minimum of 5 full life cycle SAP projects
- Advanced experience of ABAP development and tools: ALV reports, database update programs, function modules, IDOCs etc.
- Experience of ABAP Workbench, including the ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Editor, Function Builder, Class Builder etc.
- Advanced experience of available systems tools for creating WRICEF items - eg LSMW, workflow, ABAP Query, Report Writer, BAPI etc.
- Understanding of key functionalities within SAP order to cash
- Understanding of RF (Radio Frequency) and Scanners
- Ability to interpret functional/technical specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills liaising with internal and external contacts as required
- Able to analyse, design and develop innovative technical solutions to complex problems and convey ideas into tangible form
- Comfort with ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
- Creative, methodical and analytical approach
This is an English speaking position, French language skills is a plus.
This is to work on site in Brussels, Belgium
The client is looking for at least one developer to start in the month of March, but as they are looking for multiple developers, the client is flexible to wait till Mid April.
The initial contract is for 4 months, but as this is a 2+ year programme, there is definitely a chance to extend.
