SAP FICO Consultant - German Speaking - Hannover, Germany. Start: 1st May 2017. Permanent Role - Up To €70,000 Per Annum + Benefits. END CLIENT

Our End client near Hannover is looking to hire a SAP FICO consultant to be permanently responsible for the SAP finance modules design and configuration for their main division.

As owner of the finance parts of the SAP configuration, this individual will coordinate change requests and enhancements related to Modules he/she is responsible requested by the supported business units. They will work with the location analysts to define and implement any new requirements into the enterprise system.

Additional to ERP Business System responsibilities Senior BA will contribute to Data Warehouse Solutions, support the SAP Team lead in developing new ERP strategies, apply add-on systems, and apply IS standards.

Tasks
* Responsible for controlling the SAP configuration
* Process Design Change Requests for enhancements to the clients configuration
* Test and provide end-user support for changes to the system
* Participate in the approval process of any ABAP development as required
* Work with the conversion team to assist with legacy and master data loads
* Provide technical support to SAP user environments
* Maintain documentation for Business and Configuration Scripts based on standards developed by the project teams
* Work with the local IS team to maintain a functional and stable SAP environment
* Apply and develop Business Warehouse solutions
* Support IS manager in selection of tools and new products

Background Required:
* Fundamental understanding of manufacturing business processes in required functional area – Sales & Distribution, Finance, Materials or Manufacturing.
* Minimum of 5 years experience supporting and maintaining business processes from a technical perspective. * Strong Systems Analysis skills are required.
* Knowledge and understanding of change control procedures is preferred. Experience with major software implementations along with project planning and test plans are required.

Some travel will be required.

Candidate requirements specifically for this role:
* Strong knowledge in all 3 modules FI, CO and AM required.
* Preferably a background from a manufacturing company with product / activity costing experience in prior career.
