SAP FICO Support Lead

Location: Barcelona

Duration: 1 year

Start Date: ASAP

Language: Only English, Spanish nice to have.

World leading End-User, based in Spain, is seeking a SAP FICO Consultant. The successful candidate will Identifies technical solutions to meet requirements, with focus on ensuring greater standardization and re-usability. You will creates and validates functional/solution designs in support of Commercial business processes. Ensures all GBS deliverable are delivered on time and with high quality. Customizing of processes and interfaces.

Drives requirements gathering and design toward achieving a solution with more standard software capability, less customization and costly enhancements, challenging and closely validating true solution gaps.

Required Education/Experience:
*Bachelor's degree required,
*5+ years of hands-on SAP configuration skills in FICO functional area and modules (FI-GL, FI-AA, FI-AP, FI-AR, Treasury, Taxes, FI reporting and period end closing processes), detailed understanding of controlling (CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-ML, COPA), detailed understanding of integration points between FICO and other modules (Purchasing, Sales, Inventory Management, Production Planning and Manufacturing), ABAP code reading and debugging skills are also beneficial,
*5+ years of related IT experience, Consumer Packaged Goods Industry experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:
*Knowledge of integration points to assigned SAP Finance functional area and related business processes,
*Proficient in written & spoken English,
*Strong analytical skills,
*Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook),
*Demonstrates the desire and ability to develop new technology skills, business knowledge, and customer service capability through training, experimentation, and self-study,
*Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization,
*Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers,
*Ability to travel and work flexible hours based on varying business requirements,
*Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, HP QC, HP Service Manager, Mercury tools, project implementation and production support experience.
