SAP SD Senior Analyst - Functional - SAP MM/WM - SAP FI/CO - Pharmaceutical - Spain
NextLink Solutions is currently looking for a SAP SAD Senior Analyst to work for our global pharmaceutical company in Spain.
Context
Hands-on functional role to perform solution/application design in order to meet business, customer and technological requirements at a global level in the area of Sales and Logistics.
Translate complex business requirements into solutions and new or amended business processes that meet business, customer and technical requirements, while observing defined financial requirements.
Service description
- Consults with responsible globa2l Business Process Managers on best use of SAP SD solutions and applications to improve business performance within SAP SD, integration with other SAP modules and non-ERP systems
- Explains benefit and use of new/upgraded technology capabilities
- Drives and manages demand from the business in the form of Change Requests
- Supports business and IT governance in developing business cases and the assessment of Change Requests
- Defines functional and technical solutions to Change Requests and create a range of documentation including Functional Specifications, Test Plans and other compliance related documentation specific to the pharma industry
- Perform SAP customizing and process set up
- Business continuity by working with Service Managers to resolve incidents, analyse problems and trends and propose and plan the implementation of solutions.
- Manages communication on technology change and plans end-user and business involvement in events (training, testing)
- Possible participation on possible future mid to large enhancement projects that include SAP SD in scope
- Possible limited travel (up to 10%) related to the delivery of Change Requests but could increase dependent on project participation (up to 50%)
Must haves
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, IT or equivalent
- Minimum 8+ years' detailed hands-on functional and technical experience within SAP SD including working in multiple enterprise scale projects requiring IT/consulting expertise
- Proven experience in SAP SD customizing/set up with at least 2-3 full life cycle implementations ideally regional or global
- Very good knowledge of SAP MM/WM processes and customizing
- Very good knowledge of the integration between SAP SD and SAP FI/CO
- Very good knowledge of de-bugging SAP ABAP programs
- Thorough understanding of ERP Sales business processes ideally within Pharma industry but could be another industrial sector such as the FMCG industry
- Good understanding of customer's business model and IT opportunities and threats
- Familiarity with project methodologies such as change management, risk management and quality management
- Proven analytical skills with ability to drive efficient design concepts and deliver against milestones
- Self-motivated and pro-active
- Strong influencing and communication skills, ability to interact with a diverse range of business representatives
- Capable of working in an international environment with virtual teams
- Experience of working with offshore based development teams
- Language skills: Fluent in English (verbal, written and comprehension)
