SAP Release Manager (BW/BO) - English Speaking. Lisbon, Portugal. Start: 5th June Month Contract (With Possible 6 Month Extension)

Our Client based in Lisbon, Portugal is currently searching for an SAP Release Manager with SAP BW / BO / ECC experience to join them on a 6 month project with a high probability of a further extension for another 6 months.

Main Tasks:
• Lead all aspects of the end to end IT Landscape management process
• In close coordination with US and EU stakeholders, plan release calendars (content, frozen periods)
• Inform the Service & Release Managers of risks and issues that may impact the release schedule or quality, and provide management reports on release progress
• Comply with the internal financial controls ensuring the Quality of the delivery
• Guarantee the updates and maintenance of release management documentation
• Chair the Change Board making sure that consumptions risks are controlled and highlighted
• Evaluate dependencies between ongoing and planned changes in term of timings and scope
• Participate on the weekly Build Committees making sure BAU and Project team are aligned and dependencies and risks are identified
• Contribute to the project's operational maintenance activities plan for the different applications in scope and all the landscape environments (US and EU)
• Execute emergency processes for deliveries into production with a high level of priority
• Organize functional reviews and approvals of each releases content
• Share Release Management information with relevant stakeholders and feed global RM calendar.

Required Skills and Experience:
• MUST HAVE a minimum of 5 years of SAP ECC/BW/BO framework and transport management experience
• Must have good Release Management experience. This must be clearly demonstrated in your CV.
• Reporting: ability to prepare a Management presentation for the scope of activity
• Ability to coordinate teams, lead meetings, assign and follow tasks to be performed
• Experience in complex cross-system environments

• Testing ability: to set-up Testing practices and identify improvement actions

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to take the ownership of problems and issues and manage to resolution
• Ability to work effectively with different countries and nationalities
