Role: SAP IS-Retail Architect
Location: Helsinki area
*considerable amount of the work can be done remotely - to be agreed in detail by the client.
Start: 1st of June, 2017
End: 31st of August, 2017 (strong possibility to extend)
Rate: Hourly rate in EUR + travel & accommodation expenses
The aim is to create business architecture to the project (still in the starting steps) according to the business requirements that have been identified. It is a holistic new SAP solution for supporting the store & business functions. At the moment there is a small team working in the project. Working at least a few days/week on-site is preferred (in Vantaa). The work allocation will be specified as soon as possible. We first contract for a couple of months and after that there is a likely possibility to continue and then it will also be more possible to acquire a higher off-site rate.
You can form a good idea of the job based on the requirements below. In addition, you will be required to participate in the Major Incident Management process which may mean out of hours participation in incident resolution and service restoration.
Required requirements
- Profound knowledge of the SAP modules SAP Retail, SAP CAR, HANA Technology, Data Integration with external POS, experience of SAP POS DM or CAR 2.0.
- 5+ years' experience, application and knowledge of SAP Retail function.
- Experience from multiple SAP rollouts with detailed knowledge across the Retail workstream and excellent business analysis skills.
- Possess an understanding how Retail Sales is managed within a sales function.
- Practical experience in steering business application implementation and software development processes; design, definition and deployment among others.
- Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of IT business solutions in the respective modules.
- Strong communication skills and an international and innovative mind-set with a clear result orientation
- Fluent English
- Experience of working with vendors with off shore resources.
Preferred requirements
- Understanding/experience of integration with other modules (SD, FI, MM) and wider SAP functionality (BPM, PI, ABAP, BW).
- Knowledge of POS CAR would be highly desirable.
