Description
SAP Logistics Support Consultant - English Speaking - Brussels, Belgium. Start: 5th June Month Contract.Our end client in Brussels is looking to hire an SAP Logistics Support Consultant with experience in SAP MM or PP or WM (need to have 2 of the three modules).
The role is to provide support to their current SAP systems, 1st level support for key users and help with future SAP roll-outs.
The role includes:
Experience
* 3-5 years’ experience in a SAP Logistics - SAP MM or PP or WM (need to have 2 of the three modules).
* At least 1 SAP full implementation experience
* Business experience in production, purchasing, warehousing or customer service
* Experience in an international environment is a plus
* Able to read/de-bug ABAP
Support:
* Be first line support for key users
* Escalate issue to support help desk and follow up on resolution
* Monitor SAP activities and resolve issues
* Maintain authorizations
Improvements:
* Challenge and prioritize business requests
* Follow industry best practice
* Map business requests to SAP processes
* Align master data requirements
* Promote standard best practice SAP set-up
* Customize solution in SAP and / or follow up on external consultant work
* Write technical specifications for improvements
* Program technical improvements and/or follow up on external programmer work
* Define requirements for BI/Dashboards
Methodology:
* Keep business process, functional and technical documentation up-to-date.
* Define impact on other domains whenever there is a potential change in your business area
* Report on your open actions, planned activities and challenges, maintain your actions list
* Escalate potential problems, issues, concerns and risks
* Keep the client ticket system up to date.
The function is part of a global application team that supports and improves SAP & related application for the organization worldwide. The role is based in Brussels but includes some minimal travel to the USA.
