SAP Basis Consultant/Technical Architect
9 month contract + extensions
Madrid, Spain
An excellent opportunity for a SAP Basis Lead with Technical Architecture experience to join a large international client in Madrid on a minimum 9 month contract with opportunity to extend long term.
The SAP Basis Consultant will support SAP Technical Architecture design activities:
. Development Environment
. Execution Environment
. Operation Environment
. Sizing: gather and translate requirements from functional teams to infrastructure teams
Define Technical Implementation Plan:
. Support the Technical Implementation Plan design activities
. Coordinate systems activities delivery
Support for Landscape Management activities:
. Support Landscape & Transport Management Design
. Support transport activities in Project track
. Support retrofit activities
. Support transports in Production Track during Cutover
. Support to technical checks after delivery of required environments by Fujitsu: after HSC and/or Build of project track systems.
. Support to technical monitoring of landscape systems. load and basic performance during project activities (see landscape in scope below)
. Support to batch job technical requirements and scheduling in SAP systems.
. Support transition activities as part of Service Introduction including dependencies with existing SAP systems` decommission activities.
. Identify the impact of the introduction of the new solution in the support unit and the associated responsibilities for implementing any required changes to existing environments.
. Support to Go Live check service with SAP: analyze and collect the information required by the SAP forms and reports conducted.
Desired experience:
. Participation in SAP projects in which multiple SAP environments (ECC, CRM, SCM, BW and SAP Portal) need to be managed with dual track (double chain of environments that need to be synchronized),
Knowledge of tools:
. Those related to the maintenance, copying and management of environments/constituents in SAP environments.
Ideally looking for local Spanish consultants but open to European Nationals
