SAP ABAP DEVELOPER - ABERDEEN - £50,000 PLUS BENEFITSWe are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP developer to assist with the development and support of SAP systems and applications. The primary objective will be in managing the design, development and maintenance of complex SAP business transaction processes.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record within a SAP environment and a keen interest in the latest SAP based technologies and development techniques, which will be beneficial in influencing solution design and best practices for the business. The ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously when necessary is essential.
Experience/ Skills Required:
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in ABAP within the following SAP modules FI, MM, HR, PM.
- Detailed knowledge of ABAP programming and best practices
- Experience of ALV reporting, OO ABAP, BDC, RFC, Interfacing, Dialogue Processes, User exits, BAPIs, BADIs.
- SAP forms migration from SAPScript/SmartForms to SAP Adobe Forms.
- Strong Debugging, Performance analysis & tuning techniques.
- Experience of core Basis functions relating to development (transports, OSS notes, etc.)
Required Consultancy Skills
- Strong communication and customer interaction skills
- Ability to propose alternate development solutions, and communicate pros & cons
- Ability to help resolve complex technical issues and independently manage critical/complex situations.
- React quickly and positively to issues/developments in the system
- Strong documentation and written skills. Ability to write and validate functional/technical specifications.
