SAP BW Consultant - French Speaking - Orleans, France. Start: 3rd July month+ Contract, part time (50%). END CLIENT.
Our End Client in Orleans, France have developed a Business Intelligence platform based on SAP BW datawarehouse NetWeaver version 7.3.
They are looking to hire an SAP BW Expert to work with key users from different business departments, to capture reporting and analysis requirements to be implemented in the company's Business Intelligence platform.
You will also work closely with the Business Intelligence competence team in monitoring the daily update of the BI platform and ensuring data consistency with the ERP data sources.
Activities and responsibilities:
* Support the enhancement and evolution of the Business Intelligence platform, including other applications interfaced.
* Define Functional and Design Specifications for new developments and identify related configuration and/or customization needs.
* Liaise with external providers, monitoring the application of development standards and policies, to ensure integrity, quality and documentation of their programming activity.
* Ensure that IS Change Management and Security policies are applied in systems implementation and operation.
* Collaborates with the other IS colleagues of the Business Intelligence competence team to ensure the operations of the Business Intelligence solutions, for both on line activity and batches scheduling and execution.
* Monitor Business Intelligence platform performances, capacity and systems risks.
Skills and Experience needed:
* Advanced technical skills in the setup and management of SAP BW in the NetWeaver version.
* Good knowledge SAP Business Explorer (SAP BEx). SAP BPC knowledge nice to have
* Strong communication skills and capability to get alignment and commitment behind IS initiatives
* At least 3 years' experience on SAP Business Intelligence solutions.
* Consolidated experience in information systems implementation projects, involving multi-functional and multi-cultural teams as well as external providers.
* Negotiation skills, cost awareness.
This is a temporary contract for 3 months. part time 50% (1 week on, 1 week off, or 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off).
