Type: Contract
Length: 3 months + (with flexibility)
The Role
As an SAP Excise Duty Consultant for Edenhouse, you will be working with leading SAP technology to deliver a project to a beverage industry who is based North East of Manchester. Being a key resource within the Edenhouse team, you will skilfully design, develop, integrate, test and deploy SAP solutions to deliver client requirements.
Trusted to assess new and available technologies, Consultants will recommend solution options best matching to customer activities and requirements. Consultants will have the opportunity to build great relationships with leading clients and relevant stakeholders throughout the business. Consultants are expected to thrive in a role filled with variety taking at times, the role of project team member, team leader or equally working independently.
Key Tasks
Ability to perform the role of SAP Excise Consultant projects
Contribute and advise on excise related issues in relation to the end to end business processes
Design and implement best practise solutions appropriate to Customer requirements and standards
Complete the configuration, specification, build and testing of the solution, integrating with other project team member to ensure a cohesive end to end solution
Develop familiarity with client operations
Fosters and maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues to meet expected customer service levels
Required Skills
To have a good level of SAP Excise & VAT solutions configuration experience
Holds a good understanding of the integration of excise processing within ECC / S/4 Hana
To have a good understanding of HMRC Excise for tax declarations, stock movements, movement types, excise calculations & categories and excise outputs
Desirable Skills
Good experience within the food and beverage industry
