Job description
- Work in business-driven planning improvement project (PIP) but as full member of in-house BI team
- Conduct and drive business requirements gathering sessions; document requirements and secure validation
- Design, configure and activate data extracts from multiple ECC instances to SAP BW on HANA
- Design, configure and populate dedicated data sources in BW for the operational planning process
- Depending on choice of operational planning module, design and activate further extracts from BW to the planning module
- Design and publish required reports, dashboards etc. in Business Objects as specified by the business project
- General go-live activities including cut-over, training, documentation and support
- Secure continual alignment with and adherence to in-house BI methodology and standards
- Contribute as SME in parallel BI data source activation projects where PIP is a stakeholder
Desired profile (CF. also required skill set below):
- Senior resource with deep understanding of ECC SD, MM, PP module and planning process
- Senior resource in BI data extraction, data alignment, data structure design
- Confident in meetings and workshops with business stakeholders
- Fluent in English
- (Additional, more junior resource to do more hands-on work in same areas in peak periods and also complement the senior resource in terms of ECC subject-matter expertise)
Please note the following related to effort requirements:
Total number of man days: Approximately 320
Low FTE during assignment duration: 50% (Sept - Oct)
High FTE: 200% (Dec '17 - April '18)
