Next Ventures looking for a Dutch or French speaking SAP Basis consultant with NetWeaver experience if possible for a role based in Brussels.
Scope:
Evaluate SAP application environments to define upgrades, changes & enhancements and bring forward improvements to it.
Responsibilities:
. Inform, assist SAP users to ensure that SAP applications are used optimally and efficiently
. Monitoring & reporting application availability and performance
. Install, upgrade (new) SAP environments
. Execute when necessary from Root Cause Analysis
. Install windows updates according to the agreed schedule with the CISO, perform sanity checks after major interventions
. Promoting changes throughout the SAP Applied Landscape (Development to Production)
. Participation in 'On call': in order to guarantee optimal availability.
. Each within his/her specific field of expertise and for which he/she is the point of contact.
. Providing technical advice and information to internal and external customers to allow them to make a correct estimate of the technical capabilities and limitations and this (B-IT) technology stack used
. Critically consider possible improvements in procedures and processes within projects and within the department
. Efficient and effective communication with the customer in terms of rolling out applications, (acceptance, transition and production) or in case of incidents, bug fixes; Communicate with regard to progress, solution.
Skills required:
. Fluent spoken Dutch and/or French, good knowledge of English; French or Dutch written in writing
. Operating Systems: Windows Server, Red Hat Linux
. SAP Stack: Knowledge of NetWeaver environments (BI, CRM, Portal, TREX, ECC, PO, GRC)
. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project, Visio)
. Virtualization: Microsoft Hyper V
. Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Couchbase, HANA, SQL Anywhere
. ITIL foundation
. Tackling conflicts: Can handle a conflict that he/she is involved in
. Working Accurately: Being rigorous and accurate, working out to detail and executing correctly
. Cost-conscious: With planning and follow-up of activities, pay close attention to the cost aspect
. Include Responsibility: Acts within its own competence and respecting the procedures, proposes and takes action to address problems and improve existing situations
. Working in openness: Initiates actions to collaborate as a group opener
. Engaged: Comply with events, act within the company policy and show hostility to their own work and organization
. Focus on the customer: Works with the customer in a correct way, to find a good solution and/or to solve a problem
