WMS Functional Support - Nottingham - 3 months+
My client currently has an urgent 3 month+ contract opportunity for a WMS Functional Support Consultant to be based in Nottingham.
The chosen candidate will be need to have immediate availability as well as experience relevant to the job specification detailed below:
Knowledge and capabilities required
- In-depth knowledge of the functionality provided as standard by one or more best of breed WMS packages (eg Manhattan Associates or JDA WMS)
- In-depth understanding of the architectural changes required to successfully implement one or more best of breed WMS packages into an IT landscape containing SAP, spanning: Integration, Data, Infrastructure etc.
- Awareness of the tasks/activities, timescales and resources required to implement one or more best of breed WMS packages
Key Responsibilities
- Use knowledge of best of breed WMS packages to support the identification of cost saving opportunities to include in productivity model Use knowledge of best of breed WMS packages to support the development of fit-for purpose programme plans for the WMS replacement programme and accompanying resource models and governance models. Use WMS functional and architectural knowledge to support Technology Lead with the preparation and execution of IT-focused meetings, interviews and workshops
