SAP Basis Consultant, SAP Basis administrator - Barcelona, Spain
SAP Basis/Netweaver, SAP BC, supporting SAP ECC6 (other modules nice to have), SAP BI, SAP SRM, SAP Solution Manager, SAP XI/PI, ABAP Programming & Basis Activities.(XI, BODS 4.1, ECC, BW Location: Spain - Catalonia - Barcelona.
An opportunity for a SAP Basis Administrator to join a large international end client in Barcelona on a 2 month contract. Start ASAP.
The candidate should have strong hybrid technology background and experience with SAP Basis.
Responsibilities will include:
Work with Infrastructure (Basis) Lead to support SAP Systems. Identify and manage Basis issues throughout the project and work with the technical team to develop mitigation/resolution plans
Co-ordinate and perform maintenance & refresh of landscape
Manage and submit changes and service requests according to internal procedures and processes
Ensure correct and accurate documentation for system builds as required for testing, cutover, and wave go-lives
Implement technical cutovers and change deployments
End to end support of projects across various technologies.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
4 years of expertise supporting/deploying SAP solutions in Basis
Proven skills in supporting oracle and Unix based business applications
Proven skills in supporting highly integrated business solutions
Experience in ITIL based service delivery within a multinational organization
Experience with off-shore team/vendor
High comfort level and experience with virtual teams
Team player and strong ability to cope with different cultures and organizational complexities
Ability and willingness to travel
Written and verbal communication skills (English must).
