SAP ABAP IS-U Developer - Caribbean. Start: 4th December Month Contract. Expenses Paid! English Speaking role.
Our client, located on a beautiful sunny Caribbean island, is close to the go-live on a new SAP implementation and are beginning to build their in-house SAP Competency Centre. They are looking to hire an SAP ABAP Developer Consultant with experience of working in the Utilities sector for a 6 month contract.
The Developer will organize and execute the development, enhancement, customization, integration, unit testing and documentation of custom the required components in support of business and technical requirements not addressed by standard, configurable SAP application content.
Key Skills:
* 4+ years of ABAP/JAVA (SAP Stack) development experience
* ABAP IS-U development experience
* General SAP functional knowledge
* Experience with SAP Solution Manager
* Experience working with SAP Enterprise Portal, BPM Workflow, Web UI, ERP
* 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in Quality Assurance Testing
* Knowledge of testing methodologies and strategies
* Knowledge of automated test tools
* General Knowledge of SAP platforms and solutions
Key Responsibilities:
* The role is accountable for ERP development policies, standards and conventions.
* Coordinate SAP application development tasks such as analyse, design, code and test break/fix requests and enhancements to SAP modules
* Create the design and technical specifications for custom software components, enhancements or customizations
Requirements Gathering: Work with team members to gather and interpret functional user/system requirements into technical design specifications
* Maintain expert knowledge of SAP development tools, technologies and related delivery methods; Write the code and/or use specialized development tools to create, enhance or customize software components
* Testing
