Next-Ventures is looking for a Senior SAP Basis Consultant
Activities: The employee must perform daily checks, performance checks and benchmarks. The employee determines important indicators and trends. He/she is responsible for test and connection processes and ensures an optimal passage of jobs and batches. Independently or in a team, he/she carries out new installations and upgrades and carries out transport assignments. In addition, he analyses and remedies incidents, prepares risk and impact analysis for changes, passes them through and tests the result. Supervision of trainees is also part of the task package.
It is also possible that you will be involved in various projects, like migrations to our new data centre or the setting up of a mobile SAP platform. We have also started the transition to In-memory technology (HANA) for our customers. Complex SAP-related security issues are discussed and we ask expertise in solving this.
Job requirements
Must have:
- a completed university degree with a technical or ICT background;
- 3 years minimum experience as a senior SAP Basis Consultant;
- is able to make broad connections between the product and to understand customer issues
- thorough knowledge of at least one OS platform (Windows/Unix/Linux);
- thorough knowledge of at least Oracle databases;
- result- and customer-oriented, analytical, stress-resistant, communicative strong and a good organizer
Nice to have:
- preferably SAP netweaver certified 7.1
- Be prepared to work outside office hours if necessary
- experience with solution manager
