Long term contract opportunity for SAP ABAP Developers
Our client, a Federal Government Department in Canberra is seeking the services of experienced SAP ABAP Developers.
Contract : 30 Jan 2018 to 31 Jan 2019 (with 2*12 months possible extensions)
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide specialist SAP Skills for support and assistance in delivering a range of deliverables. The Resource is required to focus on a number of issues in relation to the departments SAP products, and provide SAP based services to focus on a number of issues in relation to the departments SAP products.
This may include:
- Provide expertise in ABAP to identify and resolve incidents/problems.
- Generate technical specs as required.
- Adhere to the Department's SAP development standards.
- Knowledge transfer to the Department's staff and mentoring subject matter experts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 8 years demonstrated experience in SAP ABAP Object Oriented development within a large organisation
- Demonstrated experience with large scale SAP implementations using SAP technologies in SAP CRM or SAP ECC.
- Demonstrated hands on experience with SAP CRM guided procedures and Integration of CRM components with BRF+.
- Expertise in building SAP NW OData services, customizations, enhancements of OData services using DDIC, RFC, BOR and complex models.
- Demonstrated sound communication, negotiation and liaison skills and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated experience in analysing and resolving issues in a high volume production environment
- ABAP Certification
- Have worked with ASAP and AGILE/Scrum methodologies.
