Long term contract opportunity for SAP ABAP Developers

Our client, a Federal Government Department in Canberra is seeking the services of experienced SAP ABAP Developers.

Contract : 30 Jan 2018 to 31 Jan 2019 (with 2*12 months possible extensions)

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide specialist SAP Skills for support and assistance in delivering a range of deliverables. The Resource is required to focus on a number of issues in relation to the departments SAP products, and provide SAP based services to focus on a number of issues in relation to the departments SAP products.

This may include:

  • Provide expertise in ABAP to identify and resolve incidents/problems.
  • Generate technical specs as required.
  • Adhere to the Department's SAP development standards.
  • Knowledge transfer to the Department's staff and mentoring subject matter experts.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 8 years demonstrated experience in SAP ABAP Object Oriented development within a large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience with large scale SAP implementations using SAP technologies in SAP CRM or SAP ECC.
  • Demonstrated hands on experience with SAP CRM guided procedures and Integration of CRM components with BRF+.
  • Expertise in building SAP NW OData services, customizations, enhancements of OData services using DDIC, RFC, BOR and complex models.
  • Demonstrated sound communication, negotiation and liaison skills and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing and resolving issues in a high volume production environment
  • ABAP Certification
  • Have worked with ASAP and AGILE/Scrum methodologies.

The client requires the applicants to hold Australian Citizenship for this role.
