Project Role Description: Validation Manager (f/m)
Environment:
Global international Project with the target to set up a Template for our Business Unit Healthcare. It will also include the rollout to the first 4 Pilot countries.
You will work in international teams – internal Merck, consultants, IT, Business, on and off shore team members work together to reach the general objectives.
Main Project Location is the Merck Headquarter in Darmstadt.
In general - responsibilities:
As Validation Manager you are responsible for managing all related deliverables for the LEAN ERP Systems
You will be mainly responsible for the management of cross-functional tasks:
- Requirement Mangement: User Requirement scope and quality review pre-check
- Risk Management: FMEA scope and quality review pre-check
- Test Management: Tests plan/reports scope and quality review pre-check
- Validation reports: SDLC validation deliverables for Template and deployment
- Reporting to QA Manager on progress and risks in a timely fashion
You will be delivering the right quality in the given timeframe and liaison in a proactive manner with dedicated interfaces to get all deliverables in a timely manner- in order to not impact the overall GxP compliance of template and deployment
You identify risks and issues and develop actions to manage those challenges successfully in line with current valid Procedures.
You are working according to the agile project management methodology and GxP traditional waterfall CSV practices.
Typical criteria to fulfil the Project Manager role - qualification:
Master in economics or science, if possible PM certification
Minimum of 3-5 years project management experience, leading projects in Healthcare business in a GMP / Validation regulated environment
SAP know how as a generalist
Verifiable success in managing projects
Good negotiation skills
Ability to fast analyze and take the appropriate action
Customer orientation
Ability to motivate and integrate intercultural teams
Expert communication skills towards team members and stakeholders
Excellent time and self-management
Fluent in English, second language is preferred
Intercultural experience
Flexibility and mobility
Willingness to travel
