Purpose of the Mission Senior SAP BW HANA Data Modeler/Developer
The SAP BW HANA Developer Consultant will be involved in the design, implementation and development of the SAP BW on Hana solutions in the various functional domains ie Finance, Controlling, Materials Management, Procurement, Plant Maintenance, Sales & Distribution, HR, APO, Production Planning, Quality Management. (S)he will work closely with our SAP Analytics Team members and related business partners, in order to translate into latest SAP BW on HANA technology the business requirements and build the needed data models. (S)he needs deep HANA technical knowledge to develop reliable and performant HANA data models to meet business requirements at an affordable cost.
Primary Tasks & Responsibilities
The SAP BW HANA Developer Consultant must follow the SAP BW HANA solutions through all phases, including analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and documentation, as well as providing technical expertise in the HANA modelling area. Knowledge of one or several SAP functional as technical SAP BW/HANA expertise and knowledge of Front End reporting tools is a plus.
Main responsibilities will be:
Translate user requests/needs into BW HANA enabled analytic solutions
Define technical design and implementation steps
Datamodelling with SAP HANA Studio by using Information Modeler for building
Design of SAP HANA Datamodelling objects using Attribute View, Analytic View, Calculation View.
Designing and Maintaining the best BW/HANA solutions taking into account the business and technical requirements and the reporting Front End capabilities.
Provide technology advices regarding Datamodelling in SAP HANA
Ability to develop and review technical specifications and documentation
Monitoring and ensuring best in use performance for data loading as for reporting solutions
Experience, Knowledge & Soft Skill Requirements
Required Experience & Knowledge
Technical SAP BW HANA with development of ETL and data warehouse with extraction from multiple data sources
Native HANA modelling experience
Knowledge of SAP ABAP programming language
Knowledge in one or several SAP Functional domains
Working knowledge and development experience of BW 7.4 on HANA, native HANA a must.
Knowledge of the SAP BI reporting tools such as SAP Bex Query Designer, SAP BO (WebI, Analysis for Office), SAP Design Studio is an asset
Knowledge of Integrated Planning is an asset
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment is an asset

Education, Methodology & Certification Requirements
Technical degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
SAP certification in the area of HANA is a plus
Knowledge in Agile methodology and DevOps are a plus
ICT Skills (software, operating systems, hardware, etc.)
BI reporting tools as SAP Bex Query
Designer, SAP BO, SAP Design Studio and other reporting tools
SAP Functional domains
