Description
We are looking for one " SAP BO Business Objects Specialist " to start from ASAP a 3-month contract (initial, as kind of probation, extensions possible) for an international Org'-client in Rome, with possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability, the perspective is at least 9-12 months.

TASKS
- Investigate and resolve production issues escalated by the support team
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting service levels
- Analyze existing reports and improve performance
- Customize the BI Platform CMS system database universe to develop reports for BO system usage and performance monitoring
- Create user accounts and administer security permissions, ensuring compliance to required corporate standards
- Mentor and train end users in the use of the technology, as needed
SKILLS
- Core understanding of Business Objects architecture, security framework and content management
- Hands on experience in Business Objects platform administration in BI 4.x enterprise deployments
- Excellent skills on (5+ years of hands-on) Business Objects Web Intelligence reports and universe development
- Excellent skills on Business Objects Web Intelligence reports and universe development in BI 4.x enterprise deployments
- Excellent skills with (3+ years) of SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS)
- Strong understanding of relational database technology (RDBMS)
- Knowledge of SQL
Desired Skills
- Experience integrating BODS with one or more SAP sources (BW, HANA, ECC, etc.)
- Experience with requirements definition and functional design, primarily associated with Data Management activities (Mapping, Conversion, Migration), across multiple projects
- Experience with the BI Platform CMS system database universe is a plus
- Experience in other Business Intelligence or related tools such as, Cognos and Tableau
- Experience in SAP BW powered by HANA and BW4HANA
- Experience with PL/SQL and/or Hadoop
Languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
