Hi,Montash is looking for a SAP Plant Maintenance application expert to reinforce temporary its internal application expert team in order to work on different maintenance and development activities. Additional expertise on top of SAP PM in next SAP modules: MM, DMS, PS and/or management of change (MOC) is welcome.
“client” is running an Hybrid SAP plant maintenance solution in support of all its production facilities (20+) across Europe but also offshore. The Hybrid solution consists of a core solution running on SAP ECC6 complemented with:
- several SAP content server integrated to SAP DMS for storing plant maintenance documents
- SAP embedded application like Prometheus solution
- interfaced with several Third party applications like Evision, Meridium Reliability, risk based inspection, shift reporting…
The service is ensured through an hybrid delivery model consisting of
- an internal team on 3 to 4 people focusing on architecture, business requirement analysis, functional / tech design, quality control and testing, cutover management and mainly facing the internal customer, level 3 support, prioritization…
- combined with an Indian based team focusing on solution maintenance, level 2 support, Abap programming, hands on development through change request and project.
“client” has several integration and development projects on going around SAP plant maintenance and is also looking to assess and deliver a strategy to clean its plant master data and stay clean.
The consultant will be based in the office in Zaventem (Brussels), reporting to line manager Christophe Renard and reporting for task prioritization and solution change management to the plant maintenance domain architect.
Position could require some travel to Oslo or other offices/factories of the group in Europe. In really rare occasion, there could be requirement to go for business trips of 1 to 2 weeks outside of Europe. These will be planned long in advance.
Job Description
IT Subject matter expert, design authority and service management of a portfolio of applications / interfaces / SAP functionalities linked to the plant maintenance, management of change and the production asset performance management area.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, actively contributing to the plant maintenance process standardization and optimization through the development/deployment of new or existing IT solutions.
- Provide IT expertise and services to the business, acting as the interface between business and IT.
- Advise on business requirements / concerns using the plant maintenance solutions.
- Translate requirements into IT specifications and secure their implementation.
- Support in organizational change management and business process optimization.
- Transfer solution knowledge to the business actors and conduct training accordingly.
- Continuous service improvement.
- Change request management, solution quality control and testing…
- Secure IT operations: incident and problem management, acting as level 3 support,
- Drive end to end IT operation and development services within an outsourced multi providers environment. Secure services are delivered according to agreement and governance.
- Design IT service model. Contribute to the contracting and implementation of outsourced services.
- Collaborate to global projects as solution and service expert for your service area.
- Coordinate small projects dedicated to your service area and ensure delivery according to agreement.
Experience / Profile
- 4 to 5 Years hands on experience on the SAP PM --> support, troubleshooting, application maintenance, functional usage of the modules, ABAP reading, functional design and development such as report creation, configuration …
- Additional experti
on SAP PS, DMS, MOC
, MM (integration to PM and procurement part related to PM)
- 7 years of professional experience in the plant maintenance domain
- Any expertise in other plant maintenance solution not related to SAP technology will also be highly appreciated
- Experience in in SAP Plant master data assessment and clean up, covering governance, Data preparation and data migration activities.
- Experience in creating end user work instructions, training material and providing training activities.
