Description
Currently have a requirement for an experienced Linux Technical Consultant, with key focus and experience in RHEL and Serviceguard, to assist my client on an initial 3 month contract opportunity based on site in Swindon, Wiltshire.
We have been advised by the client that it is important that the successful candidate be aware that this role has been determined to fall Inside of IR35 regulations and that they will be required on site Monday to Friday, unless agreed otherwise.

Role Overview/Description:
- The customer requires detailed design and implementation of the target platform for the S/4HANA/FPSL system.
- The implementation is of the base infrastructure up to and including the SAP Basis Layer.
- All HANA and Application Servers will use Red Hat Enterprise Linux as the Operating System.
- HPE Serviceguard will be used for HANA databases and ASCS instances to make them highly available.
- Implement OS template for VMs for: - Application VMs - HANA DB Nodes (physical and VMs) - Others (VMs) - Serviceguard for HANA HA/DR Implementation x 8 - Serviceguard for Application Servers Implementation x 4
Project Description:
- SAP HANA
- Vanilla SAP HANA build that includes the infrastructure deployment to the SAP S/4HANA base layer
Required Skills:
Design, documentation, build and testing related to:
- Excellent Red Hat Enterprise Linux expertise
- HPE Serviceguard for high availability
- Ability to work flexibly and to tight schedules
