For our client we are looking for a HANA Database Architect (m/w/d) in nearshoring.Language: English
100% Remote work (Team is located in Poland, no presence required)
Duration: asap - 31.08.2022 (40h per week)
Task:
- Design and implement engineering HANA solutions to operations team to better manage and support large number of live database systems
- Provide assistance to customers in resolving issues and performance bottleneck
- Design reporting on various metrics: availability, usage and performance
- Define best practice on performance testing and application benchmarking activities
- Define patching strategies and implement or maintain solutions
- Continuous improvement of existing processes and standards
- Participate in documenting and improving our processes
- Provide recommendations and guidance for improvements of our design
Background:
As a Senior Hana Database Architect within the Cloud Operations Team, you will be responsible for engineering the HANA solutions in public cloud (Azure) to support and administration of our database servers landscape and services. Leveraging best of breed technologies, you will have a direct impact on the company’s ability to succeed.
Skills:
- Experience as a database engineer/administrator
- In Depth knowledge of SAP HANA platform
- Good knowledge of scripting languages/automation
- Good knowledge of public cloud services (Azure)
- Experience in implementation of best practices and performance tuning (SAP HANA)
- Experience with one or more the following technology will be considered as an asset: MSSQL, mySQL and Mongo DB
- Experience in migrating RDBMS databases such as Oracle, MSSQL to SAP HANA
- Experience in performance tuning (Oracle and SAP HANA)
- Experience in working in a high availability environment (24X7)
- English
