SAP Workflow Specialist
Fuse Digital Consulting (A Division of the CPS Group) is building a Delivery Team to support one of our Key Partners. We are searching for an experienced SAP Workflow Specialist to join our clients ever-growing business on a contract basis for a 3.5-month period with the possibility of extension.
Location: South Wales (Remote)
Rate: £500 - £600 per day
Duration: 3.5 Months
Clearance: Disclosure Scotland/BPSS/DBS (Eligible for SC)
IR35 Status: OUTSIDE
Purpose:
Primary responsibilities will be to develop and enhance the configuration & the development of ABAP, in S/4 HANA/ERP for our client.
This includes:
* Provide ABAP Application Configuration & Development responsibilities.
* Provide Workflow Configuration & Development responsibilities.
* Provide advice and recommendations in relation to implementation & deployment of custom ABAP objects and Enhancements.
* Provide solutions in relation to the core ABAP solutions in S/4 HANA.
* Provide guidance, support or development activities to the implementation project team in relation to ABAP.
* Provide solution with high quality in full and on time.
Assignment Definitions
Technical Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and ABAP applications that includes custom & standard
* Deliver using SAP tools -all the workbench tools used for ABAP application development.
* Provide estimates for design and implementation efforts involved in delivering the work
* Develop RICEF objects in ABAP
* Contributes to the development of process standards and evaluation of tools as needed
* Investigate and resolve problem identified technical issues in ABAP
* Produce high quality documentation such as Solution documentation, technical specifications and Test documents etc.
* Work to planned timescales with superior quality
* Escalate problems, issues and risks promptly where appropriate.
* Play an active part in the team.
Knowledge
Essential:
* Knowledge and experience of business processes associated SAP S/4 HANA
* In-depth operational knowledge of S/4 HANA Flexible Workflows development and methodologies.
* In-depth knowledge of implementing custom flexible workflows.
* Knowledge of SAP BTP Workflow Management service
* In-depth operational knowledge of ABAP development and methodologies of S/4 HANA
* Detailed SAP knowledge of ABAP, including several of the following areas:
*Functional Modules/BADI's & BAPI's
*SAP Script, SMARTFORMS and ADOBE Forms
*Object Oriented Programming
*S/4 HANA extensibility options such as In-App extensions.
*oData Development
*CDS & BOPF
*Strong Debugging skills
*ABAP on HANA desirable
*Knowledge and experience of business processes associated SAP Finance and ABAP

*A successful track record working in S/4 HANA
*A successful track record working in SAP ABAP
SKILLS

*Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues
*Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively
*Ability to provide advisory services internally and directly to the client
*Strong customer service orientation
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to impart ideas in both technical and non-technical language
*Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
Desirable
SAP Certified in:
*SAP ABAP
