Description
A Senior Systems Analyst is required for 6 months (likely to be extended) based in Solihull. Inside IR35 paying £550 per day Umbrella.
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, 09:00-18:00 (1 hour lunch). Start and finish is flexible based on prior approval.
Job Description:
Reporting directly to the IT Commercial Manager you will have the responsibility for delivering SAP SD developments in a complex but rewarding SAP environment. Leveraging on your in-depth specialist SAP SD knowledge, you will work with the business to gather requirements and provide the most optimal SAP solutions. In addition, you will ensure there is compliance with our internal control processes and procedures.
Essential
To be successful in this role you must have:
Strong knowledge of the SAP SD module and all its components
Evidence of at least 3 to 5 years' project/change experience across several SAP SD capabilities
Experience in translating business requests into clear functional requirements and can communicate complex IT concepts into understandable business language
The ability to manage and own large-scale changes across a dynamic SAP system landscape and meet deliverable timelines
Experience of structured systems development and project management methodologies
A good understanding of the role SAP SD plays in improving customer experience and delivering digital transformation
Proven ability to lead workshops to gather functional requirements
Drive and aptitude to explore and learn new technologies released by SAP
Excellent presentation skills
Experience investigating and resolving incidents against SLA's
Experience in mentoring and supporting members of the team to foster growing skillsets and widen the talent pool
It is also desirable that you have:
A degree in Computer Science, software development or a similar qualification
SD Certification
SAP Functional Knowledge of various other SAP modules eg FI, MM,
S/4 Hana experience
SAP ABAP debugging
ITIL Certification/awareness
