On behalf of our client, Manning Global is currently looking for:
Position Title: Financial Accountant
Position Type: Permanent
Start Date: September 2015
Location: Germany, Dusseldorf

Responsibilities:
- Dealing with accounting functions, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, prepayments and intercompany accounting.
- Ensure the transaction and accounts payable are paid in timely manner.
- Ensure that all bank transactions are recorded on a timely basis and that the bank is reconciled.
- Prepare payment runs for approval.
- Ensuring timely processing of travel expenses and timely reimbursement.
- Prepare VAT filings.
- Prepare month end close for review.
- Interface to banks, tax consultants, insurancer, payroll provider
- Assisting Head of Finance to deal with external relationships with tax office.
- Any other related tasks as required.
Qualifications/skills required:
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with 3? to 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Have good understanding of local tax and custom regulations, as well as banking issues.
- Strong technical knowledge in Accounting and financial requirements in Germany.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP FI module is a must.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office in particular Excel.
- Be able to communicate well with all levels in English and German.
- Accounting professional qualification is definitely an advantage
- High level of willingness and flexibility, pro?actives, independent, detail oriented.
