Description
Development Engineer/Powertrain Engineer required for a leading client in the automotive sector. The relevant Development Engineer/Powertrain Engineer has an opportunity to be part of a fast growing team. There are many exciting projects in the pipeline therefore this opportunity has the potential to be long term.
The role requires the Development Engineer/Powertrain Engineer to:
- Understand engine components and consider life and cost factors
- Contribute to the design of new products and processes such as creation and maintenance of FMEA documents and a DVP&R
- Review supplier suggested validation plans
It is desirable the Development Engineer/Powertrain Engineer has:
- A working knowledge of APQP
- Knowledge of drawing release processes to support the release of parts onto BOMs and engine lists in preparation for volume production.
- The ability to support field and production issues
