Javascript Software Engineer / Agile Development Team Lead

Joined the company as an Engineering Manager at a very delicate time when COVID19 lockdown
started and the organisation moved to remote working strategy. The team I was leading is
responsible for the car rental pre book pages that includes selection of insurance packages and any
extras. The tech stack is React/TypeScript, NodeJS, and on organisation level we were working
through microservices and micro-frontend architecture. The team is following the TDD practices,
and working on developing reusable components consumed internally and also externally by partner
websites (such rentalcars.com, booking.com, ryanair.com etc.). Alongside being a tech and agile lead
to my team of developers and QA engineers, my everyday responsibilities were also to look after
their well being.
My main goal was to help the team to become a high performing and autonomous team that is able
to achieve superior business results.

At DAZN we developed a sports subscription app with over 8000 live events accessible in selected
countries. The app was built of multiple SPA's targeting tens of devices, using React & MobX and
microservice API's using Node.js. One of the biggest challenges was to have the application
customised and optimised for multiple devices.

Map based web app for a well-known client, developed in parallel with the native apps. I was part of
the web app team of two from the first day of development, bootstrapped and developed all the
features. Technologies used: React, Redux, ES6, SASS, REST API, NodeJS, WebPack, Jenkins, Azure
cloud.
