Motion Designer / 3D Artist / Director

Working with a small team I took on the roles of director, designer and lead animator for Galaxy's new Darker Milk campaign. Developing three distinct visual approaches, 'Marble', 'Curl' and 'Wave', to illustrate the concept of liquid milk and dark chocolate mixing together to create the new range of bars I built a system and compositing pipeline which took the output of high density xParticles simulations into treated greyscale mattes in After Effects which were then used to drive textures in Octane Renderer resulting in the striking and unique effect.

Having successfully delivered as a designer / animator for their recent Matheisa commission, I was asked again by Worth Knowing to lead production and R&D duties for a one minute abstract visual piece for Hennessy Cognac to feature at sponsored music and cultural events. Leaning heavily on the products amber hue and signature diamond / lozenge motif, we creatied an immersive kaleidoscopic journey from grape to conception to the rolling hills of the Cognac region.

Jam Films London invited me back to help pull together a series of high-end stings for Mitsubishis 'Absorbing Life' prime time campaign on Channel 4. My responsibilities for this job included camera matching 3D scenes to studio photos of various car models, building scenes in which objects are attracted to and absorbed by each car in a physicaly convincing way and photo-realistic shading and lighting in Octane.
