Skills

Project history

02/2023 - Present
Certified Scrum Master
VERYGOOD.gmbh (Internet and Information Technology, < 10 employees)

08/2021 - 11/2022
Senior Program Manager and Scrum Master for Corel Vector and Dabble (English)
Corel Corporation (Internet and Information Technology, 50-250 employees)

After some restructuring in 08/2021 I was offered these positions. I always attain the highest goals of advancing processes, striving for continuous improvement, and guaranteeing the Scrum team’s success. At the same time, I ensure that the newly introduced products Vector and
Dabble are on track, and we release iterations in time and with good quality. Continuing to apply
the servant leadership philosophy and Agile principles, I:
- initiated a three-week iteration cycle (now two-weeks) with regular releases – we never missed a date,
- lead, organize, and debrief the Agile events Iteration Review Meeting, Retrospective, and Grooming,
- ensure that learnings from these events were implemented in upcoming iterations,
- have regular 1:1s with all team members to ensure their well-being and helping them grow,
- ensure and work together with the POs that the items in the backlog have the right order and granularity,
- most all of ensure that the team can work in a sustainable pace and is protected from impediments.

06/2017 - 07/2021
Product Manager, Team Lead, and Scrum Master (part-time) for Gravit Designer (English)
Corel Corporation (Internet and Information Technology, 50-250 employees)

Applying the servant leadership philosophy, I was leading the product development team of the
design app Gravit Designer to combine technology and design to solve real customer problems
in a way that is meeting the needs of the business. Using Agile principles (Kanban) me and my
team:
- built up and led a fully remote product team of 15 highly successful people (from development, design, QA, and support),
- introduced Gravit Designer PRO, the paid version of the product, localized the entire UI to thirteen languages,
- made countless product improvements and introduced new features that customers love,
- developed CorelDRAW.app based on Gravit Designer, which let Corel keep innovating,
- appeared in the keynote of the Chrome Dev Summit in 2019,
- established a PWA in early 2020, which was unique for a full-blown design application at this time.
