PhD Philosophy; HNC Cross-platform application development; HNC Web developerProgramming enthusiast, co-founder of the startup crashclub.es and developer in two large projects for the Barcelona city council and the government of Catalonia. I am Cristian Mena and since 2016 I have been totally immersed in the world of web and mobile development with Angular, Java and React, always looking for the most satisfactory and optimal solution to the different needs of the client. Specialized in Angular2 + and RESTful Java micro services, I have carried out work on both the implementation of new projects and maintenance and corrections.
After graduating in philosophy from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB), I felt a deep interest in the logic and impact of new technologies on society; That is how I decided to take the leap and train in multiplatform development.
During the years of studying programming, I started, together with other colleagues, a startup, crashclub.es, a social network dedicated to offering all kinds of activities and events to make new friends. It was in this first project where I had the opportunity to consolidate my knowledge, at a technical level, in html, css and javascript, the first languages with which I began to develop.
With the intention of continuing to grow as a developer, I started working for Everis (NTT Data) as a full stack developer. First for a project of the Barcelona city council; It was a webApp for city council workers that would allow them to manage the mayor's events and communications agenda; with backend developed in Java Spring, RESTful services and Angular frontend.
After completing this project and carrying out a series of new implementations during the maintenance process, I managed to participate in the development of a new application, this time for the government of Catalonia. A really great application that aimed at the centralized management of public schools in Catalonia; academic records, teachers, evaluations, etc. All this also developed with Java Spring, RESTful services and Angular frontend.
Currently I have the need to continue growing on my own, looking for interesting projects with a positive impact on society

Project history
At Everis I had the opportunity to consolidate my knowledge as a developer as well as gain more experience in organizing and analyzing the needs of a project. I had the opportunity to work on two very interesting projects, one for the Barcelona city council and the other for the government of Catalonia. Used technology: - Java Spring - Angular2+ - AngularJS - SQL - Hibernate - REST - Git Competencies: - functional documentation - Technical documentation - Modular and integrated development - Test plan
Together with 3 fellow students, we decided to create the startup crashclub.es, a social network dedicated to organizing activities and events to make new friends.
I got to perform many tasks since we were building a project from scratch; functional design, technical analysis, frontend development with html, css and javascript, user experience and messaging management with network users.
