Skills

I am an experienced Data Scientist as well as full-stack developer. Ich have worked as a Data Scientist at Palantir, whose interview process is comparable to Google in terms of difficulty.

I am exceptionally skilled at linking technological solutions with business requirements.

I have begun my focus on AI when I was still in high school and have always been fascinated by automation. Ich have a correspondingly broad knowledge over all areas of AI and machine learning.

Despite this focus, I am a very practical person. My first question is always: "How can we use this data to generate profit?"

In parallel to my freelance work, I run my own Data Science startup: elody.com

In addition to my focus on Data Science, I am also a very competent full-stack developer. My programming skills are competitive on the national level.

Project history

12/2020 - 09/2021
Data Engineer and Full Stack Developer
AbbVie (Pharmaceuticals and medical technology, >10.000 employees)

I planned and implemented a data pipeline to merge and clean three separate databases into one, allowing different departments to communicate more effectively. In the process, I sped up bottleneck SQL queries by several orders of magnitude, enabling us to update the data in real time.

I also built a frontend (a Django webserver) to organize and display this data in an understandable manner. This application helps AbbVie's researchers to analyze their data more effectively.

My contract was extended multiple times, as I kept pointing out new ways to utilize the data. I also proposed and then implemented an automated tool to find and visualize possible connections between the disparate data in their legacy databases.

Hopefully my work can help AbbVie in its medical research during the Corona Crisis.

09/2019 - 05/2020
AI Research Consultant
Huawei (Telecommunications, >10.000 employees)

I developed a tool to improve the robustness of our machine learning models.

Based on my findings there, I proposed, developed and implemented a tool to improve machine learning models, by increasing synergy with internally used simulation software.

I discovered anomalies and irregularities in client data, which exceeded the limitations of existing models. I proposed and implemented modifications to fix our models.

Local Availability

Open to travel worldwide
I am unavailable until end of 2022.

I live in Reichertshofen (between München and Ingolstadt). An ideal Situation would be to work from home twice a week or so. This of course depends on the project requirements and is negotiable.
