Skills

As a seasoned DevOps Engineer, I bring a robust portfolio of experience and skills to any potential client, showing my proficiency in both the technical and collaborative aspects of the field. My career has been defined by pivotal roles in innovative projects, ensuring efficient and secure development environments that align with organizational goals and stakeholder needs.
One of my key projects was the Real-Time Framework (RTF) initiative, where I was instrumental from the initial concept discussions with stakeholders to the refinement of functionalities based on their feedback. My role encompassed establishing the foundational infrastructure, integrating remote debugging capabilities, and creating a user-friendly portal. I also enabled remote setup and maintenance, ensuring the framework's usability and efficiency. Throughout this process, I prioritized collaboration, consistently aligning the project's direction with stakeholder expectations and making continuous improvements to enhance the system's overall performance.
In my role as a Lead DevOps Engineer and Project Manager, I have extensive experience with Continuous Deployment/Continuous Integration (CD/CI) pipelines, leveraging tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, and Git. I designed and implemented Helm Charts for Blue/Green Kubernetes Deployment, which facilitates seamless updates with minimal downtime. Additionally, I implemented advanced encryption protocols within the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data. My work included developing Ansible Playbooks and Roles for automated application deployment and task automation. I also designed a Proof of Concept (PoC) for a service mesh using Istio, significantly improving service discovery, reliability, and visibility within microservices environments.
My expertise extends to automating OS image creation in VMWare using Ansible and deploying digital certificate management systems to secure communication and authentication across networked environments. I have collaborated with cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments and implement industry best practices, bolstering overall cybersecurity resilience. My ability to develop and enable external hardware support and Virtual Host Channel Interface (VHCI) support in a multi-stage containerized environment has been pivotal in maintaining operational efficiency and security.
As a DevOps Architect from July 2022 to January 2023, I defined, implemented, and set up a deliverable Linux software development environment. This role involved analyzing various market options for virtualizing software development (such as VirtualBox and Vagrant) and ensuring functionality, maintainability, and performance. I facilitated easy management and provisioning of information for Linux and Windows VMs, and enabled scalable Continuous Engineering Process (CEP) environments to deliver pre-configured clients based on host type definitions. I also managed client base images, implemented IT standard services for scalable farm management, and provided VM refresh capabilities triggered by user or CI for Windows clients.
Additionally, I implemented centralized scanning for Open Source usage, enhancing compliance and security within development processes. My proficiency in diagnosing and resolving PKI infrastructure issues, along with developing and executing incident response plans, underscores my capability to manage and mitigate security incidents effectively.
In summary, my comprehensive experience in DevOps engineering, combined with my strategic approach to project management and deep technical expertise, positions me as a valuable asset to any organization seeking to optimize their development operations, enhance security, and ensure robust, scalable infrastructure solutions.
