RTL-News: Performance Optimization & Web Development
RTL News is one of the leading news and entertainment portals in Germany, attracting millions of visitors daily. It offers a variety of content, including current news, entertainment posts, sports coverage, and lifestyle articles.
As a web developer, I have worked since 2019 as part of a team of frontend and backend developers. I was responsible for optimizing web performance, ensuring data protection compliance, and overseeing tracking and marketing. In doing so, I worked with various technologies such as TypeScript, Webpack, React, NextJS, NodeJS, PHP, and various databases.
In 2021, a major milestone was the relaunch of the RTL brand as part of the "#united" campaign. I supported various stakeholders and teams from different trades in successfully implementing the relaunch and creating a modern and user-friendly online presence for RTL News.

CoachHub relies on Low-Code technology and modern web tools
CoachHub is a leading German startup in the field of coaching platforms, supporting companies and individuals in over 50 countries worldwide. CoachHub offers a platform for human resources development and coaching where customers can choose high-quality coaches and book individual coaching programs. The platform connects customers and coaches in a simple, user-friendly, and flexible system tailored to the individual needs and goals of each customer.
In the first subproject, we developed a proprietary CRM dashboard for CoachHub to comply with data protection regulations. We used a low-code platform, SQL databases, and NodeJS middleware to implement the dashboard and improve efficiency and scalability.
In the second subproject, I was part of a team involved in the development of a feature. This feature allowed customers to share coaching logs and give feedback. Modern web technologies such as ReactJS, TypeScript, and Docker were used in this process. The feature was a significant step to enhance the platform's user-friendliness.

Big Data Platform for Vehicle Fleets
Big Data and IoT enable the collection and analysis of large amounts of data generated by sensors in a vehicle fleet. The platform can visualize and analyze time series and data points from various vehicle sensors on a map in real-time. It can be used to improve the efficiency and safety of the vehicle fleet and applied in fields such as urban services. It also allows for predictive analysis to plan and optimize future maintenance needs and costs.
As a web developer and software architect, I developed a research prototype of a Big Data platform in ReactJS that processed vehicle data with NodeJS and DynamoDB in the AWS Cloud. The platform could access a very large amount of data efficiently and present it in real-time in a web dashboard. Additionally, AI models were integrated to perform calculations based on the data. The map visualization also allowed for the evaluation of the road condition and traffic situations to enable optimized traffic planning.
