3D CAD Modeling Cable Harness, Technically Oriented

For mainly German clients, the main responsibilities are:
- Weight forecast and tracking for different manufacturers and model ranges and status generation
- Calculations of component and complete vehicle weighting, center of gravity, mass moment of inertia
- Equipment scenarios and country vehicle weights/diversity management (Bill of Materials)
- Examination and implementation of planned quotas in equipment scenarios
- Derivation check of vehicle targets in weight
- Benchmark analysis
- Build strategies during Workshops for future team development with counterparts from Germany

Part of the ETCS Signaling Dept.:
- Directly involved and responsible, playing a Key role in creating the new Bucharest On-Board
Installation Engineering Team
- Managing the development of the team to ensure the adequacy of the capacity vs. workload vs. skills
- Participate in optimizing the processes for the industrial phase until material delivery on-site as well as
in defining ''good methodologies/best practices'' for installation activities
- Support the Domain Leader in delivering the 2D drawings and the 3D models (with Catia V5 / Inventor)
- Perform FEA using the Hyperworks / Optistruct suite, with respect of QCD constraints for each solution
- Ensure compliance with design documentation and Supervisor Installation orientations / instructions
- Directly liaising with the Electrical Leader regarding cabling lists and test protocols
- Participate in installation activities: if necessary, coordinate immediate actions after quality incidents
- Represent Alstom at customer meetings, presenting proposals, negotiating packaging solutions
- Build strategies during Workshops for future team development with counterparts from different sites:
Germany/Sweden/Denmark.

- Lead for product development and launch, taking responsibility for the technical realization of
the project: be the Key contact for the customer in all engineering design questions
- Co-ordination and technical leadership of team members
- Ensure all packaging solutions adhere to packaging design standards
- Participate fully in evaluation of the harnesses at vehicle assembly plants, coordinate immediate
actions after quality incidents
- Cost improvement analysis in the development and manufacturing stages of the vehicle
- Managing workload allocation and quality follow-up, with subsequent KPIs
- Support Root Cause Analysis activities, define solutions for permanent quality improvement
- Recommend and take necessary actions to steer back on course when progress deviates from the
project plan, or when it may deviate from the plan.
