Project & Role Description:

Travelers are the largest American Insurance company by market value. It is also the third largest
writer of U.S. Commercial property casualty providing a broad range of insurance products including
workers' compensation, integrated disability, property, liability, specialty lines, surety bonds,
inland/ocean marine, and boiler and machinery. They are assisting Travelers with the Business
Intelligence Report Development work in the Legal Matter Application Program with the goal of
developing and implementing a new application for management of legal matters by the Claim Staff
Counsel.
Travelers, to become high performers by BI analysis and promoting their insurance business in better
way. Used to get functional specification for the Cognos report from onsite coordinator and
analyzing the specification, asking for the clarification & resolution if needed and then creating
reports for the business users.

* Understanding business requirement, preparing technical design and test case.
* Analyzing HLD, RDD document and designing report specification.
* Preparing metadata layer and framework manager development,
* Creating package and publishing it in Cognos connection.
* Design and development of simple and complex Cognos reports.
* Testing reports and mocking-up business view data in Teradata.
* Bug fixing, scheduling and delivering business reports to end users.
* Interacting with Client and status reporting to offshore/onshore manager.

Mattel, Inc. US is the world's largest toy company, based on revenue. It produces Barbie dolls, Hot
Wheels and Matchbox cars, American Girl dolls, board games etc. Mattel became popular with the
introduction of Barbie in 1959. Toy manufacturers produce and distribute most of our toys. They also
research and develop new toys and buy or license toy inventions from inventors.
We are providing BI service to customer which helps them to improve execution of the existing toy
business; globalize the brands; extend the brands; catch new trends; and develop people by doing
business analysis to promote their business in their areas. Its primary mission is to analyze
business data in order to run their business in a better way.
