As CIO at GE Capital France/GE Money Bank, Piotr was responsible for Consumer, Leasing, Factoring, and Fleet IT teams for the French market with a budget of $75MM OPEX (of which $50MM for application support), $35MM CAPEX. He managed 15 executives and their teams, 350 employees + 200 contractors, while also overseeing global project teams. Piotr launched a 3-stage digital transformation referred to as Digit@ll, intending to eliminate paper workflows in the back/front office entirely. He worked with the Global CIO to drive global integration and transformation of Fleet operations.

During my career, I had the opportunity to work on a groundbreaking project. Together with a colleague, we developed and marketed the first version of a digital map of Poland, long before the advent of Google Maps. This project required a high level of innovation and creativity, as we had to navigate uncharted territory.
Additionally, we also successfully implemented a transaction system for a local bookstore, which enabled the digitization of all processes and resulted in increased sales. This project was not only a technical achievement, but also a great example of how technology can be leveraged to improve business operations.
It was an incredibly rewarding experience to be a part of such a pioneering project and to see our ideas come to fruition. It was an amazing working and creative experience that I will always treasure.
