Functional Consultant
* Working as functional consultant in support/enhancement project in DP, IP, RP
* Supported I2 solutions initially and now, MCA in DP/IP/RP modules
* Handling the incidents raised by business in SAP related MCA (Servigistics product now taken
over by PTC) and MCA area as per the SLA agreement
* Handling change requests which consisted of either configuration or program changes associated
necessary documents like configuration documents, functional and technical specification along
with the necessary unit, integration, regression and user acceptance testing
* Customization in distribution and redistribution planning, substitution planning, need to buy
estimation, forecast netting, net change collaborative inventory planning, returns planning,
replenishment planning
* Managing special requests from users like Mid-month end adjustments, final adjustments,
Finalization forecasting
* Managing all issues through Remedy before that are extended to many other functional modules
like manufacturing, sales & distribution
* Supporting during implementation of new incident management tool (Service now) as super user
from production support team
* Train newly joined consultants to business process and support process and activities to keep
the lead time to minimal
* Analyze SAP systems and identity area of improvement and submit idea for Continuous
Improvement Plan (CIP)
* SAP batch job creations, BCS approvals, object transportation from dev to prod environment
* Identified and Resolved issues in SAP related to MM, WM, SD that are related to planning
module
* Schedule, perform and monitor periodic data loads from SAP ECC to planning tool
* Involved in Disaster recovery management, configured, tested and result analysis of SAP jobs,
planning data.
Client Management
* Build formal & informal customer relationships at the project level by engaging them regularly
and be the SPOC to the customer on project related activities, managing Expectations,
participate in different account activities to increase customer satisfaction.
Knowledge Management:
* Document and share team learning's from the project, seek information and leverage knowledge
from other projects in order to drive higher efficiency and effectiveness and preserve
organization knowledge.
* Create and Maintain proper documentation using for SAP-Solution Manager, BCS (Batch Control
sheets) and PCR (Production Change request).
