Network Security Administrator, Technical Operations Support, Lecturer

* Detect, assess, and report network vulnerabilities. Perform regular O&M functions such as
problem management, patching, backups, configuration management, system
documentation, and reporting. Responsible for managing and maintaining a small instance of

Splunk Enterprise in the disaster recovery environment. Maintain awareness of cyber trends,
threats, and vulnerabilities. Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security
assessments.
* Monitor and maintain the operational capability of several enterprise-level cybersecurity tools

and countermeasures. Troubleshoot operational systems and collaborate with other
organizational entities responsible for enterprise systems support.

* Participate in the validation testing of system configuration/hardening and assessment of
classified information systems (IS). Recommend technological upgrades/modifications to the
client's Information Systems Security architecture.
* Responsible for maintaining existing security infrastructure, such as two-factor authentication,

network surveillance technology, intrusion detection solutions, endpoint protection, data
leakage protection, and encryption solutions and systems.

* Resolve functional and technical errors, provide update patches to the clients on the application;
establish a remote desktop connection to install and update applications.

* Reviewed incident tickets and responded to end-users appropriately and within established
standards; resolved open tickets in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive client
experience and high.

* Environments Management Team (EMT), an established team within the Operations and
Assurance Services Directorate where technical operations and clinical assurance come
together. The task to run through the tasks detailed in the operations run book Run Health

checks, Monitor Hardware, monitor software operations using Splunk Enterprise, cisco Stealth
Watch, Nagios and Grafana.

* Providing an excellent delivery experience for customers by receiving & sorting parcels.
