J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. is a well-known multinational banking and financial services company. The Intraday Liquidity (IDL) Program is a strategic initiative undertaken by the company to improve the risk management, control, reporting, and oversight related to J.P. Morgan's intraday liquidity. The primary objective of this program is to ensure that the company has adequate funds available to meet its payment obligations on any given day.
As a part of the IDL Program, the responsibilities of a software developer would include designing, developing, documenting, and ensuring the objectivity of functional requirements related to feed onboarding, framework change, and other critical aspects of the program. The developer would also have to implement functionality changes and ensure that the end-to-end test cases are written. Additionally, the developer would need to make the application more performance-centric so that it can handle up to 1 million data points per day with different feeds. Proposed architecture changes must also be implemented efficiently to improve the overall system.
