Proofreader, General Transcription, Purchasing Agent

I have an extensive background and a developed career in purchasing, which spanned over sixteen years. During this time, my proofreading skills were put to the test in the form of developing and revising contracts, submitting RFI's RFP's, and RFQ's to potential internal and external customers. Both purchasing and proofreading were skills developed over those years. Proofreading was an important requirement for both legal and marketing documents submitted on my behalf.  

After many years devoted to a single company, I decided it was time to work for myself and branched out into other areas of business that really captured my interests. Those abilities and interests span from proofreading for business to students completing essays and writers completing manuscripts. As I was looking to fill those void areas of time, proofreading transcripts had come into play for me, and I found that I thoroughly enjoyed it as well. One must be an excellent proofreader to be a successful Transcriptionist.
