About the Company: Our client is a global leader in the automotive industry, known for innovation, cutting-edge technology, and delivering world-class experiences to customers. As part of a major digital transformation, the company is implementing a robust B2C payment system and is seeking a Senior Adobe Commerce Engineer to join their dynamic team on a 6-month contract basis.
Role Overview: As a Senior Adobe Commerce Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the ongoing implementation of a B2C payment system. Your expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento) will be essential in ensuring the successful development, integration, and performance optimization of the platform. You'll work closely with in-house teams and external partners to deliver a seamless, secure, and scalable solution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and customization of Adobe Commerce (Magento) functionalities for the B2C payment system.
- Ensure smooth integration of payment gateways and third-party services.
- Optimize platform performance, scalability, and security in a high-traffic e-commerce environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot, test, and resolve complex issues during the implementation phase.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices on Adobe Commerce architecture and development.
- Stay updated on Adobe Commerce developments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and security protocols.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Adobe Commerce (Magento) Engineer, with a strong track record in B2C payment system implementations.
- Expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
- Extensive experience with Magento 2.x, including custom module development, theme customization, and API integration.
- Solid understanding of payment gateways, e-commerce security, and transaction handling.
- Ability to manage performance optimization in high-traffic environments.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Previous experience in the automotive sector is a plus but not essential.
