We are seeking an experienced BMS Architect to lead the design and integration of Building Management Systems on commercial projects in Atlanta. You will define system architecture, control strategies, and high-level design frameworks to ensure scalable, efficient, and compliant BMS solutions. This is a strategic, design-driven role requiring strong technical expertise and collaboration with stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
- Define BMS system architecture and integration strategy
- Develop control strategies, sequences of operation, and high-level design documentation
- Review and validate system designs for compliance, scalability, and performance
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, project managers, and design teams
- Provide guidance during commissioning and handover to ensure design intent is met
- Extensive experience in BMS design and architecture (Niagara/Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, Trend)
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls, building systems, and integration standards
- Proven ability to define and document system architecture and control strategies
- Experience leading technical design discussions and guiding project teams
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications (BACnet, MODBUS, Niagara) are a plus
