Project Description:
As part of the Switch program, the client is looking for temporary reinforcement to support RUN activities in Master Data Management (MDM) with a strong focus on Data Quality. The goal is to strengthen an already highly loaded team to ensure operational continuity and drive continuous improvement of master data quality.
The mission focuses primarily on managing and securing Material (priority) and Business Partner data in SAP, monitoring interfaces, and coordinating with business stakeholders.
  1. Duration: 6 months (long-term extension planned)
  2. Start date: ASAP
  3. Language: English
  4. Location: 100% remote + 2–3 on-site days per month in Paris (client HQ)
  5. Travel expenses: fully covered by the client
  6. Requirement: candidate must reside in the EU
  7. MD rate: up to 600 Euro/MD
Responsibilities
  1. Provide RUN / Level 3 support for Material & Business Partner objects (incident analysis and resolution).
  2. Monitor and resolve interface issues between SAP and third-party systems; track errors and coordinate with technical teams.
  3. Monitor data flows, ensure stability, and collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
  4. Perform Data Quality analysis using existing tools (BI / PowerBI / PowerApps).
  5. Lead corrective actions with business teams (e.g., marketing, logistics, purchasing, sales).
  6. Define, track, and report Data Quality KPIs.
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of MDM processes (data quality rules, interfaces, workflows).
  8. Support business teams in resolving MDM-related issues.
  9. Participate in rollout activities and evolutions of the MDM scope.
  10. Coordinate between project teams and RUN teams.
  11. Use and help enhance internal tools (internally developed PowerApp, BI reporting).
Must-have Skills
  1. Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDM, primarily Material (priority) and Business Partner.
  2. Proven experience as a Business Analyst with strong stakeholder communication skills.
  3. Strong Data Quality experience (analysis, remediation, KPI-driven improvement).
  4. Experience with RUN / Level 3 support in an MDM context (incident management, root-cause thinking).
  5. Understanding of SAP interfaces / integrations and ability to troubleshoot data-flow issues.
  6. Professional English.
  7. EU residency and willingness to be on-site in Paris 2–3 days per month.
Nice-to-have Skills
  1. Understanding of end-to-end processes linked to MDM such as Order to Cash, purchasing, sales, and logistics.
  2. Experience with or exposure to SAP MDG (MDG Material / MDG BP).
  3. Experience with PowerBI and/or PowerApps (or similar BI / workflow tools used for Data Quality monitoring).
