C++ Software Developer - Inside IR35 - 12 Month Contract - New Malden
Hamilton Barnes is currently working with a large global defense company who are currently looking to recruit an SC-cleared C++ Software Developer on a 12-month contract.
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent soft skills as well as relevant technical knowledge.
Key Requirements:

Design, code, test, debug, and document software solutions using C++ programming language. Develop efficient and scalable software components that meet project requirements and adhere to coding standards.

Collaborate with the team to create technical designs and architectures for software applications. Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and propose innovative solutions

Identify and resolve software defects (bugs) through debugging, testing, and code review processes. Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the stability and performance of existing software components.

Proven experience in C++ software development, including proficiency in C++ programming language and its libraries.

Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to debug and resolve complex software issues.

Experience with additional programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C#.
Contract Details:
- Location: New Malden
- Duration: 12 months (initially)
- Day Rate: £55 per hour
- Determination: Inside IR35
- Start Date: ASAP
