Your Role
- Develop, test, and maintain software solutions for their laser processing systems.
- Design software solutions in C# for customized machines and guide these projects from initial concept to final release.
- Take ownership of specific software modules and ensure their seamless integration.
- Work collaboratively in agile teams with software developers and colleagues from other technical departments, from requirement gathering to solution implementation.
- Conduct error analysis on existing systems and develop strategies for resolving them.
- Coordinate with external development partners and stakeholders to align on project goals.
- Document your work in Confluence and Jira to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering, engineering informatics, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in C# or another object-oriented programming language such as C++, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with modern development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and experience using ticket systems.
- Proficient in version control systems such as Git.
- Independent, structured approach to work.
- Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken.
Preferred Skills:
- Works with clean code.
- Experience with DevExpress, WPF, DI/IOC containers, or HALCON.
- Knowledge of .NET framework and test automation or CI/CD tools (e.g., MSTest, NUnit, Azure DevOps).
- Willingness to travel occasionally (about 15 days per year).
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools like Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
